Little Native Poetry III

A word-storm is brewing behind the bookcase at Little Native Coffee.

Local caffeinated poets will gather for a special book release reading celebrating Damn, The Weather, the newly published collection from Little Native Poetry host Antino Art through Sabre Lake Publishing.

The event will feature:

• Poems by Travis Kyng, Ina Cariño and DS Will
• Open mic reading
• Author book signing
• Jazz on a turntable
• Art by Nali Katana, the book’s cover artist
• Poetry-inspired mocktails by Alina

The 10-seat, reservation-only experience will take place in the SpeakTEAsy behind the coffee bar. Guests can grab a caffeinated beverage of their choice and follow the weather-beaten voices into the intimate space, where poetry and art come together.

Event details:

• Doors and mic sign-up: 6 p.m.
• Poems: 6:30 p.m.
• Pre-show: $10
• Walk-in: $12, space permitting
• One purchase minimum at the coffee bar
